This song is from the early 2000s when I first heard it. The song was released in 1999 in Japan and resurfaced on 2022 due to a TV series that has been released in Netflix that has the same name as title with this song as an official sound track (OST). Utada Hikaru is a living legend on JPop (Japanese Pop) and her songs like this is hit for us as a Fan of Japanese Culture. She is timeless not only because of her beauty but also on her songs.
The song’s japanese word is came from the word “Hatsukoi” that means, “First Love”. It has English and Japanese lyrics that after you first heard of it, it gives you a nostalgic feeling of your First Love. Even it has no words as “Hastsukoi” or “First Love” on its lyrics, the phrase “You are always gonna be my love” in the song already expressed the meaning of the song.
I already know how to play this song back then but when it is trending once again, I made a cover in my Youtube Channel below due to its nostalgic feeling. From what I believe as of writing this blog, the chords are much accurate because back then, some chords are wrong and now as I transcribing it to this post, I can now confidently say that this is the accurate version.
